FOR NEARLY 40 YEARS, THOUSAND CURRENTS HAS INVESTED MORE THAN $31 MILLION IN 1,000 GRASSROOTS AND MOVEMENT FORMATIONS IN THE GLOBAL SOUTH WORKING TO IMPROVE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, AND POLITICAL CONDITIONS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. TODAY, WE MAKE CONNECTIONS AND FACILITATE RELATIONSHIPS FOR COLLECTIVE POWER AND COLLECTIVE CHANGE. OUR MOVEMENT PARTNERS WORK WITH AND ARE CONNECTED TO OVER 200 MILLION WOMEN, INDIGENOUS, BLACK AND AFRO-DESCENT PEOPLES, SMALL FARMERS, URBAN RESIDENTS, SEXUAL AND ETHNIC MINORITIES, AND YOUTH.
