Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
THIS PROGRAM'S FUNDING WENT TOWARDS STATEWIDE, ISSUE-BASED SURVEYS TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF AN ODD YEAR ELECTORATE REFLECTING UPON A PREVIOUS ELECTION. ADDITIONALLY, SOME OF THE FUNDING WAS INVESTED IN INNOVATIVE NEW TOOLS, SUCH AS GROWPROGRESS, WHICH ALLOW GROUPS TO TEST OUT MESSAGE FRAMES IN REAL TIME WITH EASE.
WORKING WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS WHO ORGANIZE 365 DAYS/YEAR IN THEIR COMMUNITIES, THIS CANVASSING PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO BETTER UNDERSTAND WHAT ISSUES WERE ON THE MIND OF VOTERS IN 2020 AND 2021, AND THE REASONS WHY THEY MAY HAVE SUPPORTED A VARIETY OF CANDIDATES IN THE 2020 ELECTION. FURTHERMORE, PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS SHARED INFORMATION ABOUT THE RECORDS OF VARIOUS LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS DURING THESE CONVERSATIONS
THIS PROGRAM PAIRED MULTIPLE TRUSTED ORGANIZATIONS ON THE GROUND TO LET VOTERS KNOW WHAT WAS AT STAKE IN THE 2021 JUDICIAL ELECTIONS. THROUGH CANVASSING EFFORTS, DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS AND DIRECT MAIL, THESE ORGANIZATIONS EDUCATED THE ELECTORATE ON REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS, ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND JUDICIAL CANDIDATES.
