Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
2021 WAS A PRODUCTIVE YEAR WITH THE COMPLETION OF THE FIRST FOUR FAMILY HOMES. A PIG BARN WITH CEMENT FLOORS WAS BUILT AND WE HAVE BEGUN RAISING PIGS. A SECOND CORN CRIB WAS CONSTRUCTED FOR DRYING AND STORING THE CORN. A BUNKHOUSE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS WAS CONSTRUCTED. ONCE CONSTRUCTION OF OUR COMMUNITY IS COMPLETED THE BUNKHOUSE WILL BE CONVERTED TO AN ADDITIONAL PIG BARN. A 90,000 GALLON UNDERGROUND WATER TANK WAS CONSTRUCTED TO CAPTURE THE WATER FROM THE ROOF OF THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED 8-ROOM GUESTHOUSE AS WELL AS THE MAIN BARN, THE GRUNDY BUILDING. FUNDS WERE DONATED AND THE ACQUISITION COMPLETED OF THE ADJOINING 25-ACRE PARCEL WHERE THE PRIMARY SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL, COMMUNITY CENTER AND HEALTH CLINIC WILL BE BUILT. COMMITMENTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FOR THE FUNDING OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE GENWELL COMMUNITY CENTER AND THE NURI PRIMARY SCHOOL. AN ADDITIONAL 30 ACRES OF LAND WAS CLEARED FOR FARM CROPS. CONSTRUCTION WAS BEGUN ON AN ADDITIONAL 4 FAMILY HOMES WITH CONCRETE SLABS POURED FOR 6 MORE. WHEN THE FUNDING IS RECEIVED WE WILL HAVE 14 6-BEDROOM FAMILY HOMES. EACH HOME WILL HAVE 16 ORPHANED CHILDREN THAT WILL LIVE LONG-TERM WITH A MOTHER AND A FATHER IN A LOVING FAMILY. THESE HOMES ARE CONSTRUCTED USING THE SOIL BLOCK PRESSING METHOD. THIS MAKIGA BLOCK-MAKING MAKING MACHINE COMPRESSES A MIXTURE OF LOCAL SOIL, SAND, CEMENT, AND WATER TO MAKE INTERLOCKING BLOCKS THAT DO NOT NEED TO BE FIRED LIKE TRADITIONAL BRICKS. THIS METHOD GREATLY REDUCES GREENHOUSE GASSES.THE FIRST TWO COUPLES THAT WILL BE THE PARENTS OF THE ORPHANED CHILDREN BEGAN THEIR TRAINING WITH THE ANTICIPATED ARRIVAL OF CHILDREN MID-2022. ADDITIONAL GOALS FOR 2022 IS TO OPEN THE NURI PRIMARY SCHOOL AND TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF THE GENWELL COMMUNITY CENTER AS WELL AS ONGOING CONSTRUCTION OF FAMILY HOMES AS FUNDING IS SECURED. AS WELL AS FINDING AND TRAINING THE NEEDED PARENTS AND TEACHERS TO WORK IN OUR COMMUNITY FOR ORPHANED CHILDREN.
