AWARENESS EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND TRAINING - RESEARCHERS HAVE PUBLISHED PAPERS ON HOW TO UNDERSTAND EFFECTIVE POLARIZATION IN AMERICA. RESEARCHERS HAVE ALSO PUBLISHED RESEARCH AND PROVIDED TRAINING ON METHODS FOR COMMUNICATING IN WAYS THAT MITIGATE AGAINST POLARIZATION. THE PUBLICATION ON EFFECTIVE POLARIZATION RECEIVED WIDESPREAD NATIONAL COVERAGE. TRAININGS ON COMMUNICATIONS METHODS WERE PROVIDED TO A WIDE RANGE OF ORGANIZATIONS AND THE UNDERLYING MATERIAL WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. RESEARCHERS HAVE ALSO ENGAGED THE PUBLIC IN EFFORTS TO EDUCATE AMERICANS ABOUT ISSUES RELEVANT TO POLARIZATION AND SOCIAL COHESION, SUCH AS THE INTEGRITY OF AMERICAN ELECTIONS.


AWARENESS EDUCATION AND RESEARCH - RESEARCH TO UNDERSTAND ISSUES OF IDENTITY AND BELONGING IN WESTERN DEMOCRACIES, AND TO BETTER UNDERSTAND WHAT CAN BE DONE TO REDUCE POLARIZATION.
