THE FOUNDATION WILL MAKE GRANTS TO SECTION 501(C)3 CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE FOCUS IS HEALTH RELATED ISSUES, COMBATING HUNGER, AND BENEFITTING EVERYDAY HEROES WHICH ARE GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA WHERE THE FOUNDATION'S FUNDRAISING OCCURS.

IN 2023, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED $8,630,650 OF ASSISTANCE TO HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS COMMITTED TO SAVING AND IMPROVING LIVES IN THE COMMUNITIES WAWA SERVES, SPECIFICALLY THOSE DEDICATED TO THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF FAMILIES AND CHILDREN IN WAWA, INC'S AREAS OF OPERATION. IN 2023, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED $3,511,006 OF ASSISTANCE TO ORGANIZATIONS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING HEROES IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES SUCH AS CRISIS RESPONDERS, MENTORS AND TEACHERS, MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY AND VETERANS.
