IT IS THE MISSION OF JOY MEADOWS TO PROVIDE FAMILIES WITH COMMUNITY SUPPORT, HOUSING, AND RESOURCES SO THAT CHILDREN IMPACTED BY FOSTER CARE CAN FIND STABILITY, HEALING AND JOY.

TO SUPPORT FOSTER FAMILIES & FOSTER CHILDREN, JOY MEADOWS HAS PROVIDED FAMILIES WITH ACCESS TO A CLOTHING CLOSET, SEVERAL TYPES OF THERAPY, DAY CAMPS, A COMMUNITY GARDEN AND ITS PRODUCE, ANIMAL SESSIONS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, AND HOSTS OF MONTHLY GATHERINGS FOR FAMILIES TO CONNECT WITH AND SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER.
TO MAINTAIN EXISTING HOMES THAT JOY MEADOWS DESIGNED TO ALLOW FOSTER FAMILIES TO ACCEPT LARGE SIBLING GROUPS PREVENTING FURTHER SEPARATION TRAUMA FOR THOSE CHILDREN, AS WELL AS PLANNING FOR FUTURE HOME BUILD PROJECTS. IN ADDITION TO THE PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES, THERE WERE CAPITAL EXPENDITURES OF $975,336 MADE FOR ORGANIZATION FACILITIES THAT WILL HOUSE FOSTER FAMILIES.
JOY MEADOWS HELPED CHURCHES START PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT FOSTER FAMILIES AND BROUGHT NEW MODEL OF SUPPORT FOR RETENTION OF FOSTER FAMILIES IN KANSAS.
