TO BRING INQUIRY TO EVERY STUDENT, EVERYWHERE. WE ARE BUILDING AN SEL (SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING) PROGRAM ROOTED IN THE STUDY OF THOUGHT THAT INSPIRES CREATIVITY, CURIOSITY, ETHICS AND RESILIENCE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

DURING FY 2022, WE WORKED WITH 6 PARTNERS TO REACH APPROXIMATELY 600 STUDENTS ACROSS DIVERSE SETTINGS (2 US PUBLIC SCHOOLS, AN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, A DETENTION CENTER, AN ORPHANAGE, AND A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL). OVER THE COURSE OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN 6-18 (DEPENDING ON THEIR SETTING) SEQUENTIAL LESSONS BASED ON INQUIRY-BASED STRESS REDUCTION (IBSR) OR AN INTRODUCTORY EXPERIENCE OF IBSR. IN ADDITION, WE DEVELOPED AND TESTED A 10-15 LESSON SEQUENCE FOR ENGAGING YOUTH IN INQUIRY-BASED STRESS REDUCTION (IBSR) AND INCREASED THE SPEED OF OUR LEARNING CYCLES FROM 1 PER YEAR TO 4 PER YEAR FOR RAPID LESSON IMPROVEMENT.
