TOURISM: FUNDED BY GRANT REVENUE TO PROMOTE TOURISM FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES IN THE GREATER SANDPOINT AREA BY PROVIDING NATIONAL, INTERNATIONAL ANDREGIONAL ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES.
OTHER FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES: THE CHAMBER SPONSORS THREE LARGE EVENTS INTHE COMMUNITY TO PROMOTE LOCAL BUSINESSES AND TO BRING IN VISITORS TO ADDTO THE ECONOMIC VITALITY. THE EVENTS ARE SUMMER SAMPLER, SANDPOINTBEERFEST AND THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING.
VISITOR CENTER: FIELDED TELEPHONE CALLS AND VISITOR INQUIRIES REGARDINGSANDPOINT FROM PERSONS WANTING VISITOR, RELOCATION, EMPLOYMENT AND BUSINESS RELOCATION INFORMATION. OPERATED INFORMATION CENTER TO PROMOTE TOURISM.
