GIVE RIDES PROGRAM: TO AID US IN HELPING SINGLE MOMS ACCESS BETTER JOBS WITH GREATER INCOMES, SHORTER COMMUTES, HEALTHIER FAMILIES, AND RICHER LIVES, WE PARTNERED WITH 50+ NONPROFITS ADDRESSING THEIR TRAUMA, MEDICAL, FINANCIAL & HOUSING NEEDS. THROUGH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS, WE PROVIDE TWO (2) SERVICES: 1. CAR GIFTING - PARTNERS REFER ELIGIBLE MOMS TO RECEIVE SAFE & RELIABLE VEHICLES WITH MINIMAL COSTS. IT IS INTENDED TO FILL THE GAP FOR THOSE WITH EMPLOYMENT THAT LACK ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. ELIGIBLE MOMS ARE DOING WELL IN THEIR PROGRAM, WORKING, LICENSED, & CAN AFFORD CAR EXPENSES. 2. RIDESHARE FUNDING - SOME PARTNERS GAIN ACCESS TO OUR LYFT PORTAL TO GIVE RIDES TO THEIR ELIGIBLE MOMS. PARTNERS HAVE A QUARTERLY BUDGET & REIMBURSE 25% OF THE AMOUNT SPENT WITHIN BUDGET EACH QUARTER. THIS IS A CO-FUNDED SERVICE INTENDED TO BRIDGE TRANSPORTATION GAPS OF PARTNER'S PROGRAMS AND SERVICES OFFERED TO HELP DRIVE SUCCESS RATES AND INCREASE THE SPEED IN WHICH THEIR CLIENTS CAN ACHIEVE SELF-SUFFICIENCY. BEYOND TRANSPORTATION, WE ALSO HAVE A NETWORK OF "ENCOURAGERS" THAT ENGAGE CAR GIFTING RECIPIENTS BY PROVIDING CONNECTIONS TO LOCAL SUPPORT THAT HELPS ENSURE THE MENTAL/EMOTIONAL WELLBEING OF THE INDIVIDUAL. WE BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH EACH CANDIDATE ON THEIR PATH IN HOPES THAT THEIR SUCCESS WILL BE PAID FORWARD IN THE COMMUNITY.WE ARE PROUD TO SHARE THAT SINCE 2018, GIVE RIDES HAS SERVED 1,327 WOMEN, IMPACTING 2,270 CHILDREN AND 370 FOSTER KIDS, BY GIFTING 110 CARS AND FUNDING 10,500+ LYFT RIDES VIA 53 NONPROFIT PARTNERS. MOTHERS, WHEN GIVEN THE RIGHT TOOLS AND OPPORTUNITIES, CAN IMPROVE THE STATE OF THEIR CHILDREN. HEIRBORN, THROUGH THE GIVE RIDES PROGRAM, PROVIDES MOTHERS THE CAPACITY TO ACCESS SERVICES THAT HELP THEM ACHIEVE FINANCIAL STABILITY, BUILD WEALTH, ACQUIRE EDUCATION, AND IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES.
