LEADING FOR CHILDREN WORKS WITH ADULTS WHO IMPACT THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION THAT YOUNG CHILDREN RECEIVE. WE DO THIS BY BRINGING TOGETHER EDUCATORS ACROSS ALL ROLES (AGENCY LEADERS, PROGRAM DIRECTORS, TEACHERS, RECEPTIONISTS, COOKS, BUS DRIVERS, AND FAMILIES) TO DEVELOP OPTIMISTIC LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND DEFINE A COHESIVE, RESEARCH-BASED APPROACH TO HIGH QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMMING. WE ARE COMMITTED TO ENSURING THAT YOUNG CHILDREN IN POVERTY HAVE THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES AS THOSE WITH ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE. LEADING FOR CHILDREN USES AN INTENSIVE SEMINAR APPROACH INVOLVING TEAMWORK, COLLABORATION AND ONGOING SUPPORT IN PERSON AND ONLINE TO STRENGTHEN EARLY LEARNING PRACTICES LEADING TO IMPROVED CHILD OUTCOMES.
