OUR GOAL IS TO CONNECT PARENTS, SCHOOL LEADERS, POLICYMAKERS, AND ELECTED OFFICIALS TO MAKE COLLABORATIVE DECISIONS THAT ENSURE ALL STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO GREAT EDUCATION IN DC. HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE:* SIGNIFICANT BUDGET WINS IN LINE WITH PARENT PRIORITIES INCLUDING AN INCREASE IN " AT-RISK" FUNDING FOR THE FY23 SCHOOL YEAR, ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR EXPANDED MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORTS, FUNDING FOR A COST STUDY TO DETERMINE THE TRUE COST OF THE SBMH NOW AND IN THE FUTURE, AND AN INCREASE IN FUNDING FOR OUT OF SCHOOL TIME (OST) PROGRAMS ON TOP OF MAINTAINING LARGE INVESTMENTS THAT PARENTS ADVOCATED FOR IN PREVIOUS YEARS.* 123 PARENT LEADERS SERVED ON PAVE PARENT LEADER IN EDUCATION BOARDS.
