CONVENTION: PREPARATION AND ADMINISTRATION OF AN FY23 ANNUAL CONFERENCE ATTENDED BY OVER 1,300 PRACTITIONERS.


MEMBER SERVICES: MANAGEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS INCLUDING THE PUBLICATION OF A TRADE JOURNAL, "AFTERSCHOOL TODAYX AND BIMONTHLY E-NEWS.


NAA PROVIDES PUBLICATIONS, RESOURCES, AND SERVICES THAT REFLECT BEST-PRACTICE THINKING OF THE AFTERSCHOOL PROFESSION; DISSEMINATES TOOLS AND RESOURCES THAT SUPPORT THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT NEEDS OF MEMBERS IN THE FIELD; HOSTS THE ONLY NATIONAL CONVENTION IN THE FIELD FOR AFTERSCHOOL PROFESSIONALS; AND OFFERS ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE TRAINING, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM STAFF. NAA HAS ALSO IMPLEMENTED PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITIES WHICH ARE VIRTUAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR AFTERSCHOOL LEADERS TO BUILD KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CONTACTS WITH COLLEAGUES IN THE FIELD.
