THE WORKING AMERICA EDUCATION FUND EDUCATED MORE THAN 20 MILLION WORKING PEOPLE ABOUT ECONOMIC ISSUES SUCH AS GOOD JOBS, ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE, RETIREMENT SECURITY, AND ACCESS TO QUALITY PUBLIC EDUCATION; VOTING RIGHTS; AND POLITICAL AND CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY. IT HAD ACTIVE PROGRAM IN A DOZEN STATES, REACHING WORKING PEOPLE WITH FACE-TO-FACE CONVERSATIONS AND VIA DIGITAL PLATFORMS.


THE WORKING AMERICA EDUCATION FUND EDUCATED THE PUBLIC ON THE AVAILABILITY OF FEDERAL AND STATE BENEFITS SUCH AS UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE AND BROADBAND CREDITS AND FACILITATED ACCESS FOR TENS OF THOUSANDS OF HOUSEHOLDS.
