ART WORKS EAGAN'S MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE LOCAL ARTS COMMUNITY BY CONNECTING WORKING ARTISTS, ARTS ORGANIZATIONS AND THE COMMUNITY IN CREATIVE GATHERING SPACES.

ART WORKS EAGAN PROVIDES WORKING STUDIO SPACE FOR UP TO 34 ARTISTS. THEY ALSO HAVE A GALLERY WHERE EXHIBITIONS ARE HELD FOR BOTH WORKS OF ART AND PERFORMING ARTS. THESE INCLUDE ARTIST EVENTS, EXHIBIT OPENINGS, PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS, COLLABORATIVE ART EXPERIENCES, AND FUNDRAISERS. MOST EVENTS HAVE BEEN FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. SEVERAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS HAVE REQUIRED REDUCED COST TICKET PURCHASE. ART WORKS ALSO HAS BEEN PART OF CITY-WIDE ART EVENTS. ART WORKS ADDITIONALLY HAS NEARLY 100 REGULAR USERS - NONE OF WHOM PAY ANY FEES WHATSOEVER - WHO ACCESS THE GALLERY AND OTHER AREAS OF THE BUILDING ON A REGULAR BASIS. THESE USERS INCLUDE MEMBERS OF THE WEEKLY KNITTING GROUP AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC WHO WORK, RELAX, MEET FRIENDS OR OTHERWISE FREQUENT ART WORKS' FACILITY REGULARLY. ART WORKS ALSO OFFERS REGULAR MEETING SPACE, ACCESS TO OFFICE SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT AND STORAGE TO SEVERAL OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. THROUGH EVENTS HOSTED BY ITS MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER GROUPS, ART WORKS HAS PROVIDED A CREATIVE EXPERIENCE FOR MANY VISITORS TO ITS FACILITY, ALL OF WHOM HAVE ACCESS TO THE CURRENT EXHIBIT DURING THEIR EVENTS. ON AVERAGE, ART WORKS HAS HAD OVER 10,000 'DOOR REVOLUTIONS' PER YEAR - EQUIVALENT TO APPROXIMATELY 10,000 INSTANCES OF FREE OR REDUCED COSTS SERVICES BEING PROVIDED TO ARTISTS, THE COMMUNITY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. ADDITIONALLY, ART WORKS HAS A DEDICATED, GENERAL PUBLIC VOLUNTEER FORCE OF 130 INDIVIDUALS WHO LOG AN AVERAGE OF 76 HOURS PER MONTH.
