Part 3 - Line 4a
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING IN THE PRINTMAKING ARTS: FOR ADULTS, YOUTH, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS. THIS INCLUDED VIRTUAL TOURS AND DEMONSTRATIONS, 1400 ART KITS SENT TO SCHOOLS AND HOMES, AND 409 WORKSHOP AND TOUR PARTICIPANTS. THE ONLINE EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS HAVE OVER 19,000 VIEWS. THERE WERE SEVEN PRINT EXHIBITIONS IN HP'S GALLERIES, WITH PUBLIC RECEPTIONS AND ARTIST TALKS.
B.) A FULL-SERVICE ARTIST COOPERATIVE ACCESS PROGRAM: HP PROVIDES UP TO 60 PRINTMAKERS ACCESS TO A PROFESSIONAL, FULLY EQUIPPED PRINTSHOP, WHERE THEY CREATE WORK AND RECEIVE TECHNICAL AND CREATIVE SUPPORT. THE ARTISTS RECEIVE 110 HOURS OF ACCESS PER WEEK TO THE PRINTMAKING FACILITY, INCLUDING SUPPORT FOR: INTAGLIO, LITHOGRAPHY, SCREEN PRINTING AND RELIEF PROCESSES. CO-OP ARTISTS ARE PROVIDED TWO GROUP EXHIBITIONS IN HP'S GALLERIES ANNUALLY AND RECEIVE 80% OF SALES PROCEEDS OF THEIR WORK.
HIGHPOINT EDITIONS: THIS FINE ART PUBLISHING PROGRAM IS LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL IN SCOPE, THROUGH WHICH INVITED EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED ARTISTS CREATE ORIGINAL EDITIONS WITH THE GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT OF A MASTER PRINTER AND STAFF. PROCEEDS FROM SALES OF HP EDITIONS PROJECTS ARE SHARED BETWEEN THE ARTIST AND HIGHPOINT, SUPPORTING BOTH THE ARTIST'S TIME AND EXPERTISE INVESTMENT, AND HP'S PROGRAMS. FOUR VISITING ARTISTS WERE INVOLVED IN PROJECTS IN 2021.
