THE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM INSTITUTE (RFI) IS ADVANCING RELIGIOUS LIBERTY AS A FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT, THE CORNERSTONE OF A SUCCESSFUL SOCIETY, AND A SOURCE OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SECURITY. IT IS WORKING TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL BY CONVINCING STAKEHOLDERS IN SELECT REGIONS THAT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM CAN HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR OWN GOALS - ECONOMIC, STRATEGIC, AND RELIGIOUS. ITS ACTION TEAMS ARE FOCUSED ON PARTICULAR GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS (SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST ASIA, THE MIDDLE EAST, AND THE UNITED STATES) OR ISSUE AREAS SUCH AS ISLAM AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM (IRF POLICY). RFI IS WORKING TO PRODUCE AND DISSIMINATE RESEARCH, DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT ACTION PLANS, AND BUILDING COALITIONS TO WORK TOWARD MAKING RELIGIOUS FREEDOM A PRIORITY FOR NATIONS, CIVIL SOCIETY, RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES, BUSINESSES, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
