THE CORE PURPOSE OF AUTM IS TO SUPPORT AND ADVANCE KNOWLEDGE/TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER WORLDWIDE.

Part 3 - Line 4a
THE ANNUAL MEETING, REGIONAL MEETINGS, AND ONLINE TRAININGS PROVIDE A FORUM FOR INDIVIDUALS TO BE EDUCATED IN THE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROFESSION. THE MARCH ANNUAL MEETING WAS HELD IN NEW ORLEANS WITH 1,241 ATTENDEES WITH 167 PARTICIPATING VIRTUALLY. IN ADDITION, FOUR REGIONAL MEETINGS WERE HELD IN PERSON WITH 618 ATTENDEES. 21 WEBINARS WERE HELD WITH 632 ATTENDEES AND 1,442 RECORDED CONTENT PURCHASES.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES AND PARTNERING FORUMS OFFER AN ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT SPECIFIC TOPICS RELEVANT TO THE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROFESSION. IN 2022, AUTM HELD NINE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES WITH A TOTAL OF 458 PARTICIPANTS. APPROXIMATELY 297 MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS ATTENDED THE PARTNERING FORUMS.

THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 13,000 READERS OF AUTM'S INSIGHT NEWSLETTERS, AND AUTM'S LICENSING AND SALARY SURVEYS REACH MORE THAN 200 UNIVERSITIES THAT SUBMIT DATA, AND MANY OTHERS THAT USE THE DATA AS A VITAL RESOURCE.
