WORKING CLOSELY WITH A COALITION OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE AGENCIES AS WELLAS A NETWORK OF GREENSPACE AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT EXPERTS, LANDFORCE RECRUITS, TRAINS, EDUCATES, EMPLOYS AND SUPPORTS PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN SYSTEMICALLY DISADVANTAGED IN AND AROUND PITTSBURGH, PA, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE FORMERLY INCARCERATED, HAVE MENTAL HEALTH DIAGNOSES, WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDERS, OR ARE BEING EXCLUDED FROM FAMILY SUSTAINING EMPLOYMENT.IN 2023, LANDFORCE CONTRIBUTED 11,207 HOURS OF ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP SERVICES TO THE REGION, ACROSS 21 DISTINCT PROJECTS.
