THE EVOLVE EDUCATION FUND IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING CALIFORNIANS ABOUT SOME OF THE MOST PRESSING ISSUES FACING OUR STATE TODAY.

IN 2021 WE HAD TWO MAJOR AREAS OF FOCUS. THE FIRST WAS EXPANDING OUR REGIONAL COALITION OF ORGANIZATIONS COMMITTED TO REFORMING PROPERTY TAX POLICY IN CALIFORNIA. THIS INCLUDED A COALITION MEETING WITH 85 ATTENDEES TO DISCUSS LAST YEAR'S PUBLIC POLICY EFFORTS AND TO LAY THE GROUNDWORK FOR FUTURE PUBLIC POLICY WORK. THE SECOND, WAS EXPANDING AND REVISING OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. THIS INCLUDED INSTITUTIONALIZING BEST PRACTICES AND MAKING OTHER PROGRAMMATIC CHANGES TO MAKE A MORE COHERENT AND STRUCTURED INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE WITH CLEAR GOALS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
