EASTERN EUROPE PROGRAM-UKRAINE: IN 2022 THE UKRAINE DEMOCRACY FUND WAS LAUNCHED WITH THE AIM TO BRING TOGETHER PRIVATE AND PUBLIC DONORS TO SUPPORT CIVIL SOCIETY IN UKRAINE, IN RESPONSE TO RUSSIA'S ASSAULT ON UKRAINE AND DEMOCRACY, TO MOBILIZE INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE AS WELL AS RESPOND TO THE BIGGEST HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN EUROPE IN MANY DECADES.

SOUTH AFRICA CONSTITUTIONALISM FUND: THE PROGRAM HAS A MANDATE TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE CONSTITUTIONALISM IN SOUTH AFRICA. IN ADDITION, EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON INTERNAL INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATION SUCH THAT KEY ORGANIZATIONS IN THE FIELD REFLECT THE NATIONAL DEMOGRAPHIC. THIS MANDATE ALSO EXTENDS TO THE SUSTAINABILITY AND TRANSFORMATION OF THE FIELD MORE BROADLY.
SOUTH ASIA PROGRAM - AFGHANISTAN: SINCE ITS LAUNCH IN AUGUST 2021, BOTH THE AFGHANISTAN EVACUATION FUND AND THE AFGHANISTAN EMERGENCY HUMANITARIAN FUND (AEHF) HAVE BEEN PROVIDING GRANTS TO SUPPORT RESETTLEMENT EFFORTS IN THE US AND OTHER KEY GEOGRAPHIES, AND TO ENSURE CRITICAL HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT IS MAKING ITS WAY INTO AFGHANISTAN AND THE SURROUNDING REGION.
