WESTERN HEMISPHERE INSTITUTES 9 - ADMINISTRATION OF THE STUDY OF THE U.S. INSTITUTE FOR STUDENT LEADERS ON U.S. HISTORY AND GOVERNMENT. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT LEADERS WITH A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE U.S., WHILE ENHANCING THEIR LEADERSHIP AND COLLECTIVE PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. ITD ADMINISTERS FIVE SUCH PROGRAMS PER YEAR, HOSTING UP TO A TOTAL OF 100 STUDENTS.
AMCE: PROFESSIONAL FELLOWS PROGRAM - CITIZEN PARTICIPATION IN GOVERNMENT-THE GRANT PROJECT AIMS TO FOSTER MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING, COLLABORATION, GLOBAL NETWORKING, AND LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AMONG CIVIL SOCIETY PROFESSIONALS FROM THE SELECTED MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICAN COUNTRIES.
