FOUNDED IN 1921, THE NAF IS ACTIVE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:NAF-FULBRIGHT FELLOWSHIPS:AWARDED TO DUTCH AND AMERICAN STUDENTS PURSUING GRADUATE LEVEL STUDIES AT UNIVERSITIES IN EACH OTHER'S COUNTRIES, FUNDED BY THE WILHELMINA AND LEENDERT REUVERS EDUCATIONAL FUND, THE LOET AND EDITH VELMANS EDUCATION FUND, AND PROCEEDS FROM THE NAF BALL.SCHOLARSHIPS:AWARDED TO HIGH-ACHIEVING DUTCH STUDENTS FOR SUMMER ACADEMIC STUDY AND INTERNSHIPS IN WASHINGTON, DC, FUNDED BY PROCEEDS FROM THE NAF AMBASSADORS' AWARDS DINNER.
