HISTORICORPS IS BASED IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION, BUT ORGANIZED AND EXECUTES PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES. AT THE HEART OF THE HISTORICORPS PROGRAM MODEL IS THE ENGAGEMENT OF A BROAD AND DIVERSE CADRE OF PARTNERS AND VOLUNTEERS. BY WORKING WITH CONSTITUENTS, PARTNERS AND VOLUNTEERS, HISTORICORPS IS IMPLEMENTING MEANINGFUL SOLUTIONS THAT SAVE SPECIAL PLACES FOR MANY GENERATIONS TO COME. THROUGH THE DEDICATION OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND PASSIONATE VOLUNTEERS, DURING 2021, 618 VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED 19,815 HOURS OF SERVICE TO PRESERVE 38 HISTORIC STRUCTURES AROUND THE COUNTRY. ANOTHER 156 YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS VOLUNTEERS ADDED A FURTHER 8,703 HOURS.
