TABOR OPERA HOUSE PRESERVATION FOUNDATION, INC. IS A COLRADO NONPROFITORGANIZATION INCORPORATED IN 2003 WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO FOSTER THEPRESERVATION AND RESTORATION OF THE TABOR OPERA HOUSE IN LEADVILLE,COLORADO AND OPERATE THE OPERA HOUSE AS A COMMUNITY CULTURAL ARTS CENTERFOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CITY. THE OPERA HOUSE LAND AND BUILDING ARE OWNEDBY THE CITY OF LEADVILLE AND IS LEASED TO THE FOUNDATION. THE FOUNDATIONRAISES FUNDS TO FACILITATE THE FULL REHABILITATION OF THE OPERA HOUSE ANDFINANCE ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BUILDING SO THAT IT WILL BE A VIABLE PLACE OF ENTERTAINMENT AND COMMERCE IN THE CITY FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.
