THE HISTORIC FOX TUCSON ORIGINALLY OPENED IN 1930 AS SOUTHERN ARIZONA'S PREMIER MOVIE PALACE. FOLLOWING A MULTI-YEAR RENOVATION PROJECT, IT REOPENED AS A SPECTACULAR LIVE EVENTS FACILITY ON DECEMBER 31, 2004. LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES AND KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE U.S. AS A THEATRE OF RARE BEAUTY, THE VENUE BOASTS ONE-OF-A-KIND SOUTHWESTERN ART-DECO DECOR AND NEAR PERFECT ACOUSTICS. TODAY, THE BELOVED, STATE OF THE ART FACILITY OFFERS A YEAR-ROUND MIX OF LIVE ENTERTAINMENT ACROSS A WIDE RANGE OF DISCIPLINES, CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY FILM, COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND EDUCATION ACTIVITIES AND PERFORMANCES SERVING NEARLY 100,000 ANNUALLY AND GENERATING AN ECONOMIC IMPACT OF MORE THAN $7 MILLION IN DOWNTOWN TUCSON.
