THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COMMUNITIES TO STRENGTHEN THEIR CULTURAL VALUES BY RESTORING HISTORIC STRUCTURES, ENCOURAGING TRADITIONAL BUILDING PRACTICES, AFFIRMING CULTURAL VALUES, DEVELOPING SKILLS AND LEADERSHIP AND ENDORSING SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES. THE PROGRAMS ARE DEDICATED TO ASSISTING COMMUNITIES IN PRESERVING THEIR HERITAGE THROUGH COLLABORATION, ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING.

GENERAL PROGRAMS ~ INCLUDES ASSESSMENT AND PRESERVATION; PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE SOUTHWEST PART OF THE UNITED STATES. PROVIDED TRANING AND WORKSHOPS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON PRESERVATION METHODS. THE PROJECTS SERVE THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
SOLAR INITIATIVE ~ DIRECTED TOWARD JOB TRAINING AND THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR SYSTEMS ON TRIBAL LANDS AND IN NORTHERN NM VILLAGES. THIS PROJECT INCLUDES JOB TRAINING AND EDUCATION FOR YOUTH, THE UNEMPLOYED AND UNDEREMPLOYED, WHICH ENHANCES ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS AND THE COMMUNITY. THE PROJECT ALSO INCLUDES INSTALLATION OF SOLAR FOR A NM LOCAL HISTORICAL CHURCH. THE PROJECTS WILL SERVE THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
