ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA CITIES IS A NON-PROFIT THAT SERVES AND REPRESENTS ITS MEMBERS, AND THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL, BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, INFORMATION, COLLABORATION, LEGISLATIVE ANALYSIS AND ADVOCACY ON MATTERS OF PUBLIC CONCERN THAT RELATE TO THE OPERATION OF MUNICIPAL ENTITIES. THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT LOCAL CONTROL, AND TO PROMOTE GOOD GOVERNANCE AND POLICY MAKING AMONG ORANGE COUNTY CITY LEADERS. SUPPORTING THE MISSION ARE THREE CORE FOCUS AREAS: (1)TO BE AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR CITY LEADERS (2) TO BE A CATALYST FOR REGIONAL COLLABORATION AND (3) TO BE THE HUB FOR GOOD PUBLIC POLICY.

THE ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA CITIES (ACC) HAS UNDERTAKEN SEVERAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT BENEFIT THE PUBLIC. THE MISSION OF ACC IS TO SUPPORT LOCAL CONTROL, AND TO PROMOTE GOOD GOVERNANCE AND POLICY MAKING AMONG ORANGE COUNTY CITY LEADERS. SUPPORTING THE MISSION ARE THREE CORE FOCUS AREAS: (1) TO BE AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR CITY LEADERS (2) TO BE A CATALYST FOR REGIONAL COLLABORATION (3) TO BE THE HUB FOR GOOD PUBLIC POLICY. THE ACC PROVIDES EDUCATION AND INFORMATION SERVICES, INFORMATION ON LEGISLATIVE ISSUES AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO CITY STAFF AND ELECTED OFFICIALS. ACC SPONSORS MONTHLY DINNER MEETINGS WITH A RECEPTION AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING. THESE EVENTS ARE OPEN TO MEMBERS AND ARE ALSO OPEN TO "NON-MEMBERS".
