Part 3 - Line 4a
THE POWER OF GROUP WORSHIP NEEDS TO BE EXPERIENCED IN ORDER TO FEEL ITS IMPACT! SINCE ITS INCEPTION, NANDALALA MISSION HAS ORGANIZED SPIRITUAL EVENTS AIMED AT BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR. WHILE PRESERVING CULTURAL TRADITIONS AND ART FORMS, THESE PROGRAMS ALSO EXPOSE CHILDREN TO DIVERSE EXPERIENCES AND PROVIDE ADULTS A PLACE TO FORM SPIRITUAL CONNECTIONS. IN TODAY'S FRENZIED WORLD, THESE ACTIVITIES PROVIDE THE INDIVIDUAL A SUSTAINED PERIOD OF RESPITE TO RECHARGE AND DEVELOP POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES SUCH AS COURAGE, HOPE, PERSEVERANCE, AND WISDOM TO FACE LIFE'S DAILY CHALLENGES.
NANDALALA MISSION DRAWS INSPIRATION FROM A BRANCH OF OUR PARENT ORGANIZATION IN INDIA, NANDALALA MEDICAL FOUNDATION, THAT HAS EXPANDED ITS PREVENTIVE CARE SERVICES TO THOUSANDS OF VILLAGERS. OUR RECENT PROGRAMS IN HEALTH & WELLNESS ARE GEARED TOWARD BRINGING HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPERTS INTO OUR COMMUNITIES TO RAISE AWARENESS OF WELL BEING AND MINDFULNESS. A HEALTHY MIND AND BODY WORK IN UNISON TO PROPEL AN INDIVIDUAL TO ACHIEVE THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL, AND NANDALALA MISSION STRIVES TO INCULCATE HEALTHY HABITS IN CHILDREN FROM A VERY YOUNG AGE.
JUST AS NANDALALA MISSION'S MATRUSEVA PROGRAM ADDRESSES A CHILD'S HUNGER FOR FOOD, OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS EXTEND THE GIFT OF LEARNING TO SATISFY THEIR HUNGER FOR KNOWLEDGE. OUR PROGRAMS ENSURE STUDENTS ENTERING K-12 OR COLLEGE ARE WELL-SUPPORTED WITH EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOR PERSONAL USE OR FOR THEIR SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS.
VARIOUS OTHER PHILANTHROPIC EVENTS TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT LIKE, MAKING BLANKETS AND TAKING THEM TO LOCAL HOMELESS SHELTERS AND OTHER DONATIONS TO LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES.
