TLC IS A HEALTH-RELATED HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING THE 1-IN-20 INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING BODY-FOCUSED REPETITIVE BEHAVIORS (BFRBS) THROUGH ADVOCACY, AWARENESS, CONNECTION, HEALTH EDUCATION, CELEBRATION, AND EQUITABLE ACCESS TO EFFECTIVE EVIDENCE-BASED TREATMENTS.VISION: WE ENVISION A WORLD WHERE:BFRBS ARE UNDERSTOOD WITHIN THE GENERAL COMMUNITY, PEOPLE EXPERIENCING BFRBS AND THEIR LOVED ONES ARE CONNECTED TO HEALTH EDUCATION RESOURCES AND EFFECTIVE TREATMENT THAT ENHANCE QUALITY OF LIFE, WHILE GROWING FUNDING TO SUPPORT ONGOING RESEARCH AND CLINICAL TRAINING.VALUES: FOUNDED IN 1991, TLC PROVIDES EDUCATION, OUTREACH, AND SUPPORT OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSE AND TREATMENT OF BFRB DISORDERS.
