CHILD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS CONSISTED OF THE GENERAL CHILD CARE AND STATE PRESCHOOLS THAT ARE FUNDED BY A COMBINATION OF STATE AND FEDERAL FUNDS. CHILD DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM OF LOS ANGELES "CDCLA" PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL PROGRAM SERVICES TO INFANTS, TODDLERS AND PRESCHOOL AGE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. DURING FY 2022, CDCLA WAS IN OPERATION FOR 250 DAYS AND SERVED APPROXIMATELY 412 CHILDREN PER DAY, TOTAL DAYS OF ENROLLMENT WERE 99,594 DAYS. CHILD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR THOSE FAMILIES WHO DID NOT QUALIFY FOR SUBSIDIZED SERVICES WERE PROVIDED QUALITY CHILD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES AT A REASONABLE PRICE. 164 CHILDREN PER DAY WERE SERVICED DURING FY 2022.
CHILD AND ADULT FOOD PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE PASSED THROUGH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. CDCLA OFFERS BALANCED MEALS AND SNACKS PROVIDING UP TO 60% OF EACH CHILDS DAILY NUTRITIONAL REQUIREMENTS TO HELP CHILDREN LEARN AND DEVELOP AT THEIR OPTIMAL POTENTIAL. DURING FY 2022, CDCLA SERVED MEALS CONSISTING OF BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND SNACKS THAT TOTALED APPROXIMATELY 55,351 MEALS COMBINED.
