PROVIDE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE FOR CHILDREN OF LOW-INCOME FAMILIES WHO ARE WORKING OR IN VOCATIONAL TRAINING. FAMILIES AT RISK FOR ABUSE OR NEGLECT ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE FOR THESE SERVICES. TRAINED TEACHERS CERTIFIED BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL SUPPORT STAFF WORK WITH CHILDREN IN AN ENRICHED, DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE ENVIRONMENT IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS RUN BY CHILD LANE AND IN A NETWORK OF LICENSED FAMILY CHILD CARE HOMES. PARENTS ARE ASSISTED WITH RESOURCES AND REFERRALS TO VARIOUS SOCIAL SERVICE AND OTHER SUPPORT AGENCIES IN THE COMMUNITY. CHILDREN RANGE IN AGE FROM FOUR MONTHS TO KINDERGARTEN.
SPONSOR OF THE CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM(CACFP) WHICH PROVIDES REIMBURSEMENT FOR MEALS SERVED IN FAMILY CHILD CARE HOMES. LICENSED CHILD CARE PROVIDERS ARE RECUITED, TRAINED.
