CONVENTION SOLICITATION - MULTIPLE CONVENTIONS AND/OR SPECIAL EVENTS WERE HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WHICH RESULTED FROM THE EFFORTS OF THE ORGANIZATION. WITH OVER 160,000 INDIVIDUALS ATTENDING THE VARIOUS EVENTS DURING THE YEAR, THE NET ECONOMIC EFFECT OF MONEY SPENT BY ATTENDEES IS ESTIMATED TO EXCEED TEN MILLION DOLLARS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING LODGING, DINING, RECREATIONAL AND OTHER HOST INFORMATION. IT ALSO PROMOTES TO THE LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TOUR OPERATORS THE VARIOUS HOTELS, ATTRACTIONS AND EVENTS HELD IN FRESNO COUNTY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
