GRANTS AND ALLOCATIONS - THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LONGVIEW (JLL) PROVIDED GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND 25 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS DURING THE YEAR ENDED MAY 31, 2022 WHICH INCLUDED ALLOCATIONS OF $90,186 FOR SPECIAL PROJECTS FROM SESQUICENTENNIAL GRANT FUNDS AND $3,488 TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS. THE SCHOOL SUPPLY TRAIN PROJECT WAS ALLOCATED APPROXIMATELY $42,000 WHICH PURCHASES BACK-PACKS, SUPPLIES, AND SERVICES FOR NEEDING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, BENEFITING APPROXIMATELY 2,300 LOCAL CHILDREN. GRANTS AND ALLOCATIONS ARE MADE TO FURTHER PROMOTE JLL'S MISSION.
