OUR MISSION IS TO ENRICH THE QUALITY OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE THIRTEEN COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THE LEWISVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT BY BEING A VEHICLE FOR SECURING PRIVATE FUNDING BENEFITING LISD TEACHERS AND STUDENTS.

STUDENTS USED THESE FUNDS TO PAY FOR TUITION, BOOKS, HOUSING, AND OTHER NEEDS REALTED TO HIGHER EDUCATION. THERE WERE 342 SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO LISD STUDENTS.
TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS USED THESE FUNDS INSIDE THE CLASSROOM TO PROMOTE A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF LEARNING. EACH GRANT WAS APPLIED FOR SEPARATELY AS A SPECIFIC REQUEST TO MEET THE NEEDS OF A PARTICULAR TEACHER OR CAMPUS. THERE WERE 127 GRANTS AWARDED TO LISD TEACHERS AND CAMPUSES.
