STUDENTS USED THESE FUNDS TO PAY FOR TUITION, BOOKS, HOUSING, AND OTHER NEEDS RELATED TO HIGHER EDUCATION. THERE WERE 410 SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO LISD STUDENTS.

TEACHERS & SCHOOLS USED THESE FUNDS INSIDE THE CLASSROOM TO PROMOTE A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF LEARNING. EACH GRANT WAS APPLIED FOR SEPARATELY AS A SPECIFIC REQUEST TO MEET THE NEEDS OF A PARTICULAR TEACHER OR CAMPUS. THERE WERE 147 GRANTS AWARDED TO LISD TEACHERS AND CAMPUSES.
