THE SAN ANTONIO LIVESTOCK EXPOSITION EDUCATION FUND, INC. (EDUCATION FUND) WAS FORMED IN 2011 AND RECEIVED IRS APPROVAL AS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION IN FEBRUARY 2013. IT WAS FORMED AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION TO SAN ANTONIO LIVESTOCK EXPOSITION, INC (S.A.L.E.) FEDERAL ID# 74-1075466, AND WILL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, OR TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF S.A.L.E. THE EDUCATION FUND IS INTENDED TO BE A TYPE I SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION, ONE THAT IS OPERATED, SUPERVISED OR CONTROLLED BY A PUBLICLY SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION.

TRANSFERRED CASH, INVESTMENTS AND THE CORRESPONDING SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT LIABILITY TO THE EDUCATION FUND (SAN ANTONIO LIVESTOCK EXPOSITION EDUCATIONAL FUND, INC.) SUCH THAT IT COULD ADMINISTER AND PAY THE SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS. S.A.L.E. AND THE EDUCATION FUND HAD AN AUDIT PERFORMED OF THE CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THEIR FISCAL YEAR ENDED MARCH 31, 2021. IN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED MARCH 31, 2021, $4,306,862 WAS TRANSFERRED FROM S.A.L.E. TO THE EDUCATION FUND AS A DONATION.
