EIF IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE COLLEGE PLANNING SERVICES AND PRODUCING LIFE CHANGING RESULTS FOR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES.

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM: EDUCATION IS FREEDOM (EIF) PLACES HIGHER EDUCATION ADVISORS IN TRADITIONALLY UNDER-SERVED HIGH SCHOOLS TO ASSIST STUDENTS WITH COLLEGE, CAREER, AND LIFE READINESS SKILLS. EIF ADVISORS ARE EQUIPPED TO PROVIDE EXPERT KNOWLEDGE TO ASSIST STUDENTS WITH POST-SECONDARY PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS APPLICATIONS FOR FINANCIAL AID, COLLEGE ADMISSION, MILITARY, AND WORKFORCE CERTIFICATION. IN 2022-2023, EIF HAD ADVISORS IN 32 HIGH SCHOOLS ACROSS DALLAS, GARLAND AND GRAND PRAIRIE ISDS.


INTERN PROGRAM: EDUCATION IS FREEDOM DESIGNS AND IMPLEMENTS THE DALLAS WORKS INTERN PROGRAM (DWP).DWP INCLUDES EIGHT-WEEK, PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS WHICH INTRODUCES STUDENTS (16-24) FROM THE CITY OF DALLAS PUBLIC AND CHARTER SCHOOLS TO FUTURE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN INDUSTRIES WHERE THEY HAVE EXPRESSED INTEREST. IN 2023, DALLAS WORKS PROVIDED OVER 1,400 SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDENTS (135 LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIPS AND 1,290 SUMMER JOBS)
