THE FOUR FOCUS AREAS OF THE GREAT PLAINS LITERACY COUNCIL ARE VOLUNTEER TUTOR AND LEARNER RECRUITMENT, TUTOR AND LEARNER SUPPORT, STAFF SUPORT, AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT. THESE AREAS INCLUDED THE DEVELOPMENT AND THE EXPANSION OF LITERACY SERVICES IN THE TWO COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA. LONG-TERM AND SHORT-TERM GOALS ARE SET ANNUALLY.
