SBS RECEIVES DONATIONS TO SUPPORT TRAINING COSTS FOR PARTNERS WHO QUALIFY FOR ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TO AMPLIFY THEIR MISSION. SBS CONSIDERS THESE RECEIPTS ALONG WITH DIRECT PAYMENTS FROM PARTNERS AS EARNED REVENUE. THE BREAKDOWN OF THESE TWO SOURCES OF EARNED REVENUE ARE:TRAINING AND SERVICES REVENUE RECEIVED: TRAINING GRANTS $75,000 TRAINING FEES 93,708 TOTAL $168,708SBS IS REGISTERED AS A NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION (NGO) IN UGANDA AS OF DECEMBER 2019. SBS COMBINES BUSINESS TRAINING HIGHLY CUSTOMIZED TO THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE LIVING IN POVERTY WITH COACHING AND MENTORING THAT HELPS PEOPLE GAIN THE SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE TO SUCCEED AS MICROENTREPRENEURS. SBS IS SCALING THROUGH A COLLABORATIVE MODEL, IN WHICH THEY PARTNER WITH MISSION-ALIGNED ORGANIZATIONS SERVING COMMUNITIES WITH HIGH RATES OF POVERTY WHO WANT TO OFFER A PROVEN INCOME GENERATION/LIVELIHOOD SKILLS TRAINING TO THOSE THEY SERVE. SBS PROVIDES THE PROGRAM EXPERTISE AND PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS BRING THEIR LOCALIZED EXPERTISE TO CUSTOMIZE THE PROGRAM.TO DATE, 439 SBS COACHES FROM 180 ORGANIZATIONS IN 27 COUNTRIES THROUGHOUT AFRICA, ASIA, AND CENTRAL AMERICA HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED TO DELIVER SBS. IN ADDITION, SBS CONTINUES TO TEST AND INNOVATE THROUGH ITS LEARNING LAB, BRINGING ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION TO 1,300 UGANDAN WOMEN DIRECTLY LAST YEAR. ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: STREET BUSINESS SCHOOL COMPLETED ITS RANDOMIZED CONTROL TRIAL (RCT), THE GOLD STANDARD IN PROGRAM MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION,DEMONSTRATING STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS IN SALES REVENUE, PROFITS, AND BUSINESS OWNERSHIP FOR GRADUATES, AS COMPARED TO THE CONTROL GROUP. BRAC, THE LARGEST NGO IN THE WORLD, CONTRACTED STREET BUSINESS SCHOOL (SBS) TO CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR EMPOWERMENT AND LIVELIHOOD FOR ADOLESCENTS (ELA) CURRICULUM AND TRAINED 22 COACHES WITHIN THEIR ORGANIZATION. SBS HOSTED ADDITIONAL IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL TRAININGS WHICH CERTIFIED AN ADDITIONAL 151 SBS COACHES WHO CAN DELIVER THE TRAINING IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THESE INCLUDED A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONS IN ASIA. THE GOAL OF THEIR PROGRAM IS TO REACH 1 MILLION WOMEN, ALLOWING THEM TO LIFT THEMSELVES AND THEIR 5 MILLION CHILDREN OUT OF POVERTY.
