THE CONSERVATION AND SURVIVAL OF ELEPHANT IN SOUTHERN AND EASTERN AFRICA IS A PRIMARY CONCERN OF CONSERVATION FORCE. WE ARE LEADERS IN DEVELOPING MANAGEMENT ACTION PLANS AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF KEY ASPECTS OF THOSE PLANS. THIS INCLUDES SECURING ESSENTIAL LANDSCAPE, CONTROL OF POACHING, STIMULATING TOLERANCE OF LOCAL RURAL PEOPLE THROUGH CBNRM STRATEGIES, AND MUCH MORE. THE FOCUS IS THE SUPPORT AND PERPETUATION OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ELEPHANT CONSERVATION PROGRAMS IN THE WORLD- THE UNDISPUTED STRONGHOLDS OF THE LARGEST REMAINING ELEPHANT POPULATIONS.PROJECTS IN ZIMBABWE, TANZANIA & NAMIBIA; THE CLEAN WATER PROJECT; THE DNA TAGGING PROJECT; THE DOORWAY TO WATERWAYS PROJECTS; JUST TO LIST A FEW.


OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES AND PROJECTS TO ESTABLISH AND FURTHER THE CONSERVATION OF WILDLIFE, PROTECTION OF HABITAT AND BIODIVERSITY INTEGRITY.


CONSERVATION OF WHITE AND BLACK RHINO OF SOUTHERN AFRICA: LIKE ELEPHANT, THE BLACK AND WHITE RHINO OF SOUTHERN AFRICA ARE THE LARGEST REMAINING POPULATIONS. THE POPULATIONS ARE STABLE OR GROWING. THE PROGRAMS ARE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL IN THE WORLD AND CONSERVATION FORCE DOES ALL THAT IT CAN FOR THE CONSERVATION AND SURVIVAL OF THE SPECIES BY PROVIDING LEADERSHIP, FUNDING FOR PLANNING AND FUNDING FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF IMPORTANT COMPONENTS OF THOSE RECOVERY ACTION PLANS.


CONTROL OF POACHING: LAW ENFORCEMENT, PARTICULARLY THE CONTROL OF POACHING IS AN ELEMENTARY WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT NECESSITY AND A PART OF ALL LION, LEOPARD, ELEPHANT AND RHINO RECOVERY EFFORTS. CONSERVATION FORCE FUNDS ANTI-POACHING EFFORTS ACROSS AFRICA, PARTICULARLY IN TANZANIA AND ZIMBABWE DURING THE 2019 PERIOD IN SPECIES IMPORTANT AREAS OUTSIDE OF FORMAL FULLY PROTECTED NATIONAL PARKS.
