CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDED 723 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION TO NOMAR MEMBERS HELD THROUGHOUT THE NEW ORLEANS METRO AREA. WE MAINTAIN LEADERSHIP ATTENDANCE AT THE NATIONAL AND STATE CONVENTIONS TO GET THE LATEST ON REALTOR TRENDS, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND REGULATIONS TO BRING BACK TO THE LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS AND OUR MEMBERS.PROVIDE TRAINING FOR ALL OUR BOARD MEMBERS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS ON BOARD FINANCE AND POLICY MATTERS.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDSCONDUCTED HEARINGS REGARDING ETHICS COMPLAINTS. HELD ARBITRATION HEARINGS TO SETTLE DISPUTES OVER COMMISSIONS. THE GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE MET AND REVIEWED COMPLAINTS/ARBITRATION REQUESTS.PRODUCE THE STANDARD REALTOR FORMS AND ADDENDUMS WHICH ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO MEMEBERS VIA OUR WEBSITE. PARTICIPATE WITH THE STATE ASSOCIATION TO FACILITATE ANY CHANGES AND CORRECTIONS TO THE MADATORY FORMS.
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRSMONITOR ALL COUNCIL MEETINGS FOR ORLEANS, ST TAMMANY, ST BERNARD, JEFFERSON, ST CHARLES AND ST JOHN PARISHES AND ARE PROACTIVE IN ADVOCATING FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AFFORDABLE HOUSING, CRIME PREVENTION AND QUALITY OF LIFE ISSUES THAT ATTRACT HOMEBUYERS TO VARIOUS COMMUNITIES IN THE TEN PARISHES THAT NOMAR SERVES. CONDUCTS INTENSIVE OUTREACH ACTIVITIES TO ALIGN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS FOR RESOURCES TO SUPPORT OUR MEMBERS.
