ADVOCATING JUST AND PROPER LAWS AND ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS AT THE LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT. TXTA STAFF MAINTAINS KNOWLEDGE OF ALL REGULATORY ISSUES RELATING TO TRUCKING AND REPRESENTS THE INTEREST OF THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY TO ELECTED OFFICIALS AND REGULATORY PERSONNEL.
COMMUNICATION WITH THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY THROUGH EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS, SEMINARS, ANNUAL MEETINGS, MAGAZINES, AND NEWSLETTERS. THIS PROMOTES KNOWLEDGE IN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY OF GOVERNMENTAL LAWS AND REGULATION, WHICH IN TURN PROMOTES COMPLIANCE.
DEVELOPING STRONG SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INDUSTRY AND PUBLIC. TXTA SPONSORS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR TRUCK DRIVERS AND MECHANICS WHICH PROMOTE SAFETY.
