THE ALLIANCE IS DEVELOPING NEW PLANNING TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO INCREASE THE RESILIENCE OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING. THE RESOURCES WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO AND BENEFIT 31 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN THE 7 COUNTY REGION. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR, A REVIEW OF COMPREHENSIVE PLANS OF 27 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND 5 COUNTY LOCAL MITIGATION STRATEGY PLANS WAS CONDUCTED. DEVELOPMENT OF A ROBUST ASSESSMENT TOOL BEGAN, THREE WORKSHOPS WERE CONDUCTED AND PARTICIPATION IN OTHER WORKSHOPS TO DEVELOP REGIONAL RESILIENCE GOALS WAS UNDERTAKEN. RCA ALSO PARTNERED WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA ON DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT, THE CREATION OF SPECIFIC DATASETS, AND A DRAFT USER GUIDE.
