ANCHORED IN CURIOSITY AND WONDER, WE SEEK TO EMPOWER THE NEXT GENERATION OF CREATIVE LEADERS BY PROVIDING ENGAGING COMMUNITY SPACES AND INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE WONDER LAB: THE WONDER LABS ARE IMPORTANT COMMUNITY SPACES. OUR MAIN WONDERLAB INCLUDES A DIGITAL MEDIA LAB, A MAKER SPACE AND A ROBOTICS LAB, AND BOASTS STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING A CNC ROUTER, A 3-D PRINTER, DIGITAL FILMAKING CAMERAS, AND A DRONE. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE TETON SCHOOL DISTRICT, WE HAVE OVER 500 STUDENTS INVOLVED IN OUR ROBOTICS PROGRAM. IN ADDITION, THE WONDER INSTITUTE AND THE TETON COUNTY LIBRARY (TCL) HAVE PARTNERED TO CREATE A RECORDING STUDIO, A MEDIA EDITING STATION, AND A WONDER LAB MAKER SPACE AT TCL. THESE PARTNERSHIPS ALLOW THE WONDER INSTITUTE TO INCREASE OUR REACH AND ACCESSIBILITY.


CIVIC OUTREACH: WONDER INSTITUTE OFFERS FREE ENGAGING AND EFFECTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDING LIVE AND VIRTUAL SPEAKER PROGRAMS, THE WE THE PEOPLE CIVIC EDUCATION PROGRAM, AND THE NATIONAL STOCK MARKET GAME.


TETON COUNTY MODEL UNITED NATIONS: WE FACILITATE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN THE UNITED NATIONS SYSTEM SIMULATION, ENABLING STUDENTS TO PLAY THE ROLE OF DIPLOMATS FROM COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE WITH THE AIM OF PASSING RESOLUTIONS ON PRESSING GLOBAL ISSUES.
