KENTUCKY HARVEST RESCUES EXCESS FOOD FROM GROCERY STORES, BAKERIES, RESTAURANTS, CONVENIENCE STORES AND OTHER FOOD RELATED COMPANIES TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, WE RESCUED 3,359,963 POUNDS OF FOOD AND DELIVERED IT TO 85 NONPROFIT PARTNERS ACROSS 6 COUNTIES. WE SAVED LOCAL NONPROFITS OVER $5 MILLION THAT THEY COULD USE TO MAKE THEIR PROGRAMS AND OUR COMMUNITY STRONGER. FOOD RESCUE ALSO CREATES CLEANER AIR FOR US TO BREATHE REDUCING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS. JOIN US AS WE FEED PEOPLE, NOT LANDFILLS, AND HELP OUR NEIGHBORS EXPERIENCING FOOD INSECURITY.
