WORKING TOGETHER WITH A NETWORK OF 97 PARTNER HUNGER-RELIEF CHARITIES TO ACQUIRE, GATHER AND DISTRIBUTE 11.4M LBS OF NUTRITIOUS FOOD AND GROCERY PRODUCTS, SECOND HARVEST PROVIDED FOOD ASSISTANCE TO OVER 109,191 UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT CRAWFORD, ERIE, HURON AND LORAIN COUNTIES. PARTNER CHARITIES INCLUDE FOOD PANTRIES, HOT MEAL PROGRAMS, SHELTERS, CHILD AND SENIOR PROGRAMS. SECOND HARVEST RECEIVE FOOD THROUGH FEDERAL PROGRAM (THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, COMMODITY SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM), STATE PROGRAMS (OHIO FOOD PROGRAM, AGRICULTURE CLEARANCE PROGRAM), FOOD MANUFACTURERS, RETAILERS, FARMERS AND GROWERS.
