FOOD FOR GREATER ELGIN IS A LARGE CLIENT CHOICE FOOD PANTRY SERVING THE GREATER ELGIN AREA. CLIENT CHOICE IS AN INNOVATIVE, DIGNIFIED APPROACH FOR FAMILIES TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN FOOD ITEMS VERSUS PRE-BAGGED GROCERIES. WE PROVIDE FOOD ASSISTANCE AND ACCESS TO ADDITIONAL SERVICES TO THOUSANDS OF MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY, HALF OF WHOM ARE CHILDREN. WE MAXIMIZE ALL DONATED SUPPORT - FUNDS, FOOD, AND TIME - WITH INTEGRITY, EFFICIENCY AND POSITIVE STEWARDSHIP.
