HOME DELIVERED MEALS PROGRAM. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MID-AMERICA REGIONAL COUNCIL (MARC), KANBE'S CONTINUED TO DELIVER OVER 215,000 FROZEN MEALS, ALONG WITH BREAD, MILK, AND FRESH PRODUCE, TO THOUSANDS OF OLDER ADULTS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES ACROSS FOUR COUNTIES.
FOOD REDIRECTION PROGRAM. OVER 700,000 LBS OF FOOD EXCESS RESCUED FROM THE WHOLESALE PARTNERS TO BE DISTRIBUTED INTO DIFFERENT SEGMENTS OF THE FOOD SYSTEM THAT WE ARE WORKING ON IMPROVING (HEALTHY CORNER STORES, DONATION PARTNERS, ANIMAL FEED, AND COMPOST).
