THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO REDUCE THE EXTENT AND CONSEQUENCES OF HOMELESSNESS BY PROVIDING TWO HOMELESS SHELTERS AND SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME COMMUNITY RESIDENTS AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS.

SIMON HOUSE PROVIDES AN EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES WHO ARE PREGNANT AND HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. THIS SHELTER HAS SEVEN FURNISHED LIVING UNITS FOR CLIENT FAMILIES. SIMON HOUSE ALSO PROVIDES A MASS EMERGENCY SHELTER AND A DAY CENTER FOR OTHER HOMELESS ADULTS. BOTH SHELTERS PROVIDE ALL UTILITIES, SUPPLIES, AND SOME FOOD. CASE MANAGEMENT FOR EACH CLIENT IS OFFERED TO ENSURE THAT CLIENTS ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE OTHER NEEDED SERVICES.


LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY WHO FACE ECONOMIC CHALLENGES MAY REQUEST ASSISTANCE TO AVERT HOMELESSNESS. THROUGH SIMON HOUSE'S COMMUNITY SERVICES, CLIENTS ARE PROVIDED ESSENTIAL ITEMS (SUCH AS FOOD, CLOTHING, DIAPERS AND OTHER BABY NEEDS, CLEANING SUPPLIES, AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS). CASE MANAGERS OFFER ASSISTANCE AND REFERRALS FOR OTHER SERVICES THESE CLIENTS MAY NEED.
