TO HELP FAMILIES TACKLE CHILDHOOD CANCER BY PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT.

ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL BURDENS ASSOCIATED WITH CHILDHOOD CANCER. A FAMILY'S HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES ARE COVERED WHILE THEIR CHILD IS UNDERGOING TREATEMENT, AND FOR UP TO SIX MONTHS AFTERWARD. FINANCIAL LITERACY SEMINARS AND ONE-ON-ONE FINANCIAL COACHING ARE OFFERED TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TOOLS TO MAKE IT THROUGH THE COSTLY PROCESS FINANCIALLY INTACT. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE OFFERED SO THAT SURVIVORS CAN REACH THEIR ACADEMIC GOASL. FUNERAL EPXESE ARE COVERED IF FAMILIES NEED HELP. IN 2021, 691 PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE PROVIDED WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. SPECIAL PROJECTS, SERVICES, EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES ARE OFFERED TO IMPROVE THEIR LONG TERM OUTLOOK. FAMILIES GET A "BREAK FROM CANCER," CONNECT WITH OTHERS WHO UNDERSTAND THEIR JOURNEY, AND HAVE ACCESS TO SUPPORT SERVICES THEY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE RECEIVE. IN 2021, 436 PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES PARTICIPATED IN SPECIAL EVENTS OR OPPORTUNITIES.
