TO STRENGTHEN THE ABILITY OF FOSTER FAMILIES TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THEIR FOSTER CHILDREN BY IMPLEMENTING A COMMUNITY BASED RESOURCE AND EDUCATION THAT CAN DECREASE ABUSE AND NEGLECT IN FOSTER CARE AND THE NEED FOR INSTITUTIONALIZED CARE.

WE GAVE FREE CLOTHES, TOYS, INFANT EQUIPMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL RESOURCES TO APPROXIMATELY 3,200 FOSTER CHILDREN IN GEORGIA'S BASIC CARE AND RELATIVE CARE FOSTER HOMES. INFANT EQUIPMENT PROVIDES SAFE HOMES FOR FOSTER CHILDREN WHILE DEVELOPMENTAL RESOURCES SUCH AS BOOKS PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. OTHER BASIC NEED ITEMS ARE DISTRIBUTED AS WELL SUCH AS SCHOOL SUPPLIES, TOILETRIES AND BACKPACKS. FOR FOSTER FAMILIES OUTSIDE THE METRO ATLANTA AREA, ITEMS ARE SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO CLIENTS' HOMES.
